This book was based on a lecture
series given at the Tavistock for eight consecutive years. It starts with an
introduction to what Psycho-Analysis is, then a series of chapters on Freud's key concepts
and then chapters on Freud's followers - Jung, Abraham, Jones, Ferenczi, followed by
chapters on Melanie Klein, Bion, Winnicott and Balint. People have enjoyed this book
particularly because they refer to it as 'jargon-free'.
